Jane Boardman, CEO
Jane has worked in consumer PR for over 25 years and is an expert in brand positioning, management and creating powerful campaigns for a wide range of consumer clients.

Jane established Talk PR in 2001 backed by M&C Saatchi.  Talk PR now has a fee income of £4million, 50 staff and clients including Procter & Gamble, the British Fashion Council, American Express, adidas and The Macallan.

Jane has specific expertise within the fashion/luxury sector, where she has established strong connections with influencers, media and experts. She advises P&G Beauty, P&G Grooming and P&G Prestige on influencer management and is strategic advisor to the British Fashion Council. She is a trustee of the BFC Bazaar Fashion Arts Foundation, a charity which she helped the British Fashion Council to set-up that aims to nurture collaborations and foster relationships between fashion, film, music and art talent.

Jane was instrumental in developing the practical framework for what became the Golden Age of Couture Gala Ball at the V&A. She has been, and continues to be, personally involved in initiatives that combine the talents of the creative arts and industries; events such as The British Fashion Awards, Fashion Rocks, The P&G Beauty & Grooming Awards and the American Express Black party. She has also served as a judge for British Society of Magazine Editors Awards.

On a more personal but equally committed level, Jane is also passionately involved in Dance Umbrella (trustee, main board member and chair of the development board) and the London College of Fashion (external examiner and advisor to the MBA in Fashion). She was also a member of the British Creative Exchange, an initiative aimed at driving collaboration in the creative industries and is a member of Arts Co networking group.

Tanya Hughes, Managing Director
Tanya is a communications expert with over 20 years’ experience in consumer, business to business and corporate PR. She specialises in fashion, luxury & lifestyle and is one of the best connected and trusted operators in London.

Tanya started her career at Lynne Franks PR where she began a 17-year working relationship with the British Fashion Council and introduced the first headline sponsor to London Fashion Week - P&G brand Vidal Sassoon. This successful partnership blossomed into a long term and highly productive relationship for Talk PR with P&G Beauty at both a local and global level. Tanya continues to work with the BFC as a strategic consultant.

At Talk PR, Tanya oversees UK & global campaigns as well as reputation management programmes for clients including: adidas by Stella McCartney, The Macallan and P&G. In her role as Managing Director, she also drives global business development through the SERMO network and is responsible for strategic brand building and digital innovation across all Talk PR's clients.

Tanya is also Group Fashion Director for the M&C Saatchi Group and is a member of the Central Strategy Unit, a cross discipline strategic and creative group that collaborates on integrated plans for brands.

Tanya was a founding director of M&C Saatchi Sport & Entertainment, which focuses on the 360 degree activation of brand sponsorships in the worlds of sport, film and music and has been a consultant for Audience, a social marketing organisation in the public and voluntary sector.

In October 2011, Tanya became a founding member of Oxfam’s Fashion Circle, a group of influential women in fashion led by Jane Shepherdson, CEO of Whistles, which aims to harness the power of Britain’s fashion industry to help support Oxfam’s many women’s projects around the world. The Fashion Circle is part of Oxfam’s wider Circle group of women, founded by Annie Lennox.
Ryan Woor, COO
Ryan has been Talk PR's Chief Operating Officer since June 2008 and is responsible for operational and business management, financial and business strategy and internal controls within the company.

Prior to joining Talk PR Ryan spent seven years at WPP's Ogilvy Group, firstly as Head of Finance for Ogilvy PR and then as Business Systems Director for the region where he successfully restructured systems and processes of many regional offices to drive efficiencies and profitability.

After graduating with an honours degree in accountancy, Ryan continued his professional accountancy training with a top ten accountancy firm, before working as group financial controller at The Marketing Store Worldwide and head of finance and operations at a new media start up company.
